Announcements

  • Attention Seniors!  From now until graduation, we will post important information about upcoming deadlines, scholarships and other information that you need to know.

    Please check daily!

ATTENTION SENIORS-    Please stop by the counseling office and let us know your plans for after high school.  There is a paper on Mrs. McCormick's desk that we are asking you to fill out.  Please fill this out as soon as possible. This is very important - do not skip this, it only takes a moment and this information is used for the June Class 2017 newsletter, the Livingston County News, and other publications.

ATTENTION SENIORS - the Big Springs Garden Club Scholarship, and the Patrick Combo Memorial Scholarship applications are now available, also the Dr. Andolora Scholarship application is now available to a graduating senior that will be entering one of the health care fields, such as nursing, radiology, physician's assistant, nurse practitioner or pharmacy.  Applications are available on the table located outside of Mrs. Dunne's office in the Counseling Center.

The Elementary School PTO Science Fair is May 25 and we would like to invite the community to participate.

If you work in the science field or you just enjoy science activities, we would for you to participate in the fair.

There are a variety of ways you can do so:

    • Conduct a hands-on science activity with children
    • Hold a science discussion topic
    • Judge science exhibits
    • Whatever you like! Make a suggestion

Email Janet Cappotelli (jcappotelli@cal-mum.org) or Kyle Leonard (kleonard@cal-mum.org) and let us know you're interested!

    Thank you!

  • * May 11 Superintendent's Conference Day Cancelled - Students are in Session that Day

    Dear Caledonia-Mumford Learning Community:

This note is to clarify a misprint that currently exists in the 2016-17 instructional calendar.  Specifically, the calendar states that if more than four days are used for emergency closings before March 31, then, as necessary, students and staff will attend school as follows:  May 11, then April 17, then April 10, then April 6.

Unfortunately, it should have read:  If four or more days  are used for emergency closings before March 31, then, as necessary, students and staff will attend school as follows:  May 11, then April 17, then April 10, then April 6.

As you know, The Caledonia-Mumford Central School District was not in session on March 8 and 9 due to a wind storm that resulted in power loss and impassable roads.  In addition, due to a prolonged snow event, our school district was not in session on March 14 and 15.  With that being said, The Caledonia-Mumford Central School District will be in session on Thursday, May 11, 2017.  Should we experience another emergency closing before March 31, 2017 then Monday, April 17, 2017 will be a day of session.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Respectfully,

    Robert Molisani, Superintendent of Schools
