American Rescue Plan
On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed into law the American Rescue Plan of 2021 (ARP). ARP makes available $122.8 billion nationally in a third round of Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds. All public school districts participating in the American Rescue Plan are required to establish a plan for usage of ARP funds that complies with program guidelines. Furthermore, these guidelines state that any plan should be sustainable after this federal money subsides.
Prior to the District’s ARP plan becoming final, it was presented publicly at the July 13, 2021 Board Meeting to allow for public comments. In addition, the District created a Thought Exchange which was sent to residents, faculty, staff and students to allow for further comments. Below, you will find a copy of those minutes, the PowerPoint presentation given by Superintendent Molisani and the link to the Thought Exchange.
