Meet Your Librarian!

My name is Mrs. Barbour and I am the Library Media Specialist for the Middle and High School. As an avid reader, libraries have always served as my second home. There was no doubt when I started college that my end goal would be to become a librarian. Before joining Cal-Mum in 2021, I've worked in a small public library, a private music collection, my college's academic library, and school libraries.

I believe that the library is a place for students to discover new passions, read diversely and deeply, think critically, collaborate with peers to solve problems creatively, and feel connected.
