• Welcome to the 2016 - 2017 School Year!

Superintendent Robert Molisani  Dear Parents and Students:

Greetings! On behalf of the Board of Education, I welcome you to the start of the 2016- 2017
      school year.

I hope your summer break was both restful and enjoyable and I want to thank you for visiting the  Caledonia-Mumford Central District.

The start of a new schoolyear is a good time to focus on the district's mission...

"The Caledonia-Mumford Central School District in collaboration with our community, takes pride in providing safe, comprehensive and rigorous experiences in order for all students to graduate as ethical, responsible, lifelong learners who are college and career ready."

New for the 2016-2017 school year is our website. Our website is designed to provide our community and parents with up-to-date information pertaining to programs and activities. Furthermore, the website will provide various resources that are available to students, parents, and community and as a means to connect with our schools and classrooms.  It is our hope that you can easily navigate through our website to find what you are looking for. Should you have any questions, suggestions or concerns about this website, please feel free to contact me or contact our webmaster, Sarah Santora, at ssantora@cal-mum.org. Your feedback is important to us. Thank you for your cooperation.

Our District is comprised of 815+ students and three school buildings on one campus. Our elementary school serves grades
Pre-K through grade 5. Our middle school serves grades 6 through 8 and high school serves grades 9-12. Caledonia-Mumford C.S.D is located approximately 20 miles southwest of the City of Rochester, in the northern part of Livingston County and in
the picturesque Genesee Valley. Our campus is located on a 90-acre site and our district covers nearly 60-square miles.
CMCS is comprised of five townships; Caledonia, Riga, Chili, Wheatland and Leroy as well as the Village of Caledonia and
    hamlets of Mumford and Clifton.

Our district has a long standing tradition of excellence. For four consecutive years, the Caledonia-Mumford High School has been recognized by the New York State Education Department as a Reward School. Furthermore, US News and World Report analyzed over 29,000 High Schools throughout the United States and Caledonia-Mumford High School earned a Bronze Medal placing us in the top 30% of high schools in the country.

Thank you for your interest in our school and for your continued support. Have a safe and enjoyable school year.

    Sincerely,

     Robert Molisani
