Caledonia-Mumford Central School District 2026-2027 Budget Information

 

Dear Caledonia-Mumford Parents and Residents:

The Board of Education and Administration have been working since last November to develop a budget that ensures the best possible programs and learning experiences for our students while simultaneously being sensitive to the taxpaying community.

2026 – 2027 Budget and School Board Election Voting

In-person voting for the 2026-2027 Cal-Mum Budget and School Board Elections will take place in the District Office, located on Freeman Drive, beginning at 12:00 pm and ending at 9:00 pm on May 19th, 2026.

Districts residents who need an absentee ballot may contact Sheri Murdock, District Clerk, at 585-538-3400 or visit the Cal-Mum District Office Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m prior to May 18th, 2026.  Completed absentee ballots must be received in the District Office by 5:00 p.m. on May 19th, 2026.

2026-2027 Budget Public Hearing and Meet the Board of Education Candidates

On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Rebekah Chenaille will present the proposed 2026-2027 school budget to the community at the annual budget hearing, starting at 7 p.m. in the Middle- High School auditorium.  A copy of Dr. Chenaille's budget presentation will be available on this webpage following the budget hearing.

Meet the Candidates - A Meet the Candidates forum will follow the budget hearing where candidates will introduce themselves and answer questions from the high school Government class.

The Cal-Mum budget is summarized in the budget newsletter and more comprehensive information about the budget is provided in the Detailed Budget Package.  Printed copies of this material are provided in the school buildings and in the Caledonia Public Library and the Mumford Public Library.
