UPDATED MESSAGE: NY GOV. CUOMO EXTENDS SCHOOL BUILDINGS & GROUNDS CLOSING UNTIL APRIL 15, 2020

NY Governor Andrew Cuomo today announced that all schools across New York State will remain closed an additional two weeks, extending the closure to April 15, 2020, in order to protect students and staff from the spread of Covid-19 Coronavirus.

The Governor had initially ordered all schools in the state to close for two weeks beginning on March 16, 2020.

Good evening, this is Robert Molisani, Superintendent of Schools, given the State of Emergency called by The Livingston County Health Department, The Caledonia-Mumford Central School District will be closed for beginning Monday, March 16, 2020 until further notice.  Also, all activities and use of school facilities including playgrounds, tennis courts, outdoor track, and events are canceled.  

 

Nothing is more important than the health and welfare of our school community.  

 

This announcement will prompt many conversations and questions which we will address in the coming days.  Please be patient and limit your questions and calls to urgent matters only.
