Morning Announcements

Elementary School 

This week we will kick-off our Parents as Reading Partners celebration! The theme is “Reading is Enchanting - Be Our Guest and READ”.

Wednesday, February 26 - Chess Club, Crazy 8s Club and Pageturners meet after school.

Thursday, February 27 - Uke Club and Good News Club meet after school.

Friday, February 28 - Create a Beauty & the Beast Stained Glass Window.

Keep bringing in the box tops and scanning store receipts because Box Tops has gone digital.

That completes the morning announcements.  Everyone have a WONDERFUL DAY FULL OF LEARNING!

Middle School - 

Ski & Snowboard Club members: Due to Blizzard Warning status in Swain, Ski Club is canceled again today. We are skiing Monday and next Thursday to wrap up our season. Please sign up outside Mrs. Hatch's classroom if you're planning to attend.  Also, if you did NOT  order a t-shirt or hoodie and you still want one, a second order is being placed. See Mrs. Hatch for details

Intramural games in the gym after school tomorrow, Thursday, until 4 pm, open to all middle schoolers. Please be sure someone is here to pick you up at 4. Looking ahead, there will also be intramurals next week from 3-4 on Tuesday and Thursday. 

 There will be a class meeting on Friday. 7th graders, you will stay in the auditorium for an additional 15 minutes to talk about the Washington DC trip in the fall. (PARENT NOTE: Don’t forget to mark your calendars for 7 pm Washington DC Parent Meeting on Tuesday, March 3.)

There will be a PageTurners meeting on Monday at noon. Please be sure to bring your signed permission slip for our competition.

Chess Club will meet on Monday from 3-4 in the library.

Science Club Members: Our next meeting will be NEXT Friday, March 6th during lunch.

Modified cheerleaders—several of you have not turned in your uniforms yet. Please leave them in the middle school office by the end of the week and Coach Carson will pick them up.

It’s not too late to order your 2020 yearbook but there are only a few weeks left! Pick up an order form in the office or order at jostensyearbooks.com. 

The yearbook is looking for candids! Do you have a great photo of you and your friends in the classroom, on a sports bus, at lunch, etc? Please email it to Mrs. McArdle or Mrs. Hayes with Yearbook Photo in the subject line.

High School 

Indoor Track Sectional Results:
Congratulations Jessica Pelkey Section 5 class D champion 55 hurdles‬! She competes in the State Qualifier at RIT on Saturday, February 29 at 5 p.m.

JUNIORS: We are holding an SAT PREP CLASS here for 4 Wednesdays in March. This is a great opportunity for you to prepare for the spring SAT exam. Please check your email for details. Letters/registration information was sent home to your parents/guardians. Please see Ms. Santora asap to sign up.

Attention all PM BOCES students: BOCES is canceled this afternoon, therefore is you have a permission form on file to leave, you may sign out in the high school office after lunch today.
